Security is a task that requires the collective effort and participation of everyone in society. This sentiment was emphasized during a courtesy visit to the office of the Executive Governor of Abia State on Friday, August 4th, 2023. Maj. Gen. HT Dada, the GOC 82 Division Nigeria Army Enugu, had the honor of meeting with Governor Alex Otti during this visit.

Accompanying Maj. Gen. HT Dada were Brig. Gen. NJ Edet, the Commander of the 14 Brigade in Ohafia, Abia State. The presence of these high-ranking military officials signifies the importance of collaboration between the government and the military in ensuring the security and well-being of the state.

It is worth noting that Navy Comm. McDonald Uba (RTD), the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, also joined Governor Otti in welcoming the GOC.
