In a significant move toward progress, the Mayor of Umuahia South Local Government, Attorney Ejikeme Nnochiri Obike  engaged in a fruitful closed-door meeting with a delegation of media consultants who paid a courtesy visit to his office. The Mayor seized the opportunity to articulate his ambitious vision for the Local Government Area, underlining his unwavering commitment to transforming Umuahia South into a vibrant investment hub.


During the session, the Mayor unveiled plans for pioneering developmental initiatives that aim to position Umuahia South as a frontrunner among its counterparts. Emphasizing the pivotal role of collective effort, he called upon both residents and those in the diaspora to join forces and contribute actively to the realization of this transformative vision.


Recognizing the significance of portraying the local government in a positive light, the Mayor stressed that attracting investors is contingent upon projecting a favorable image. This emphasis on positive representation is seen as a crucial factor in fostering interest from potential investors.


Chief Iroabuchi James Chikezie, the team leader of the media consultants, expressed gratitude to the Mayor for the warm reception and took a moment to commend the ongoing efforts in Umuahia South. Assuring the Mayor of the unwavering commitment of the media team, Chief Iroabuchi pledged support to amplify and promote the local government as an enticing and lucrative investment destination.


Furthermore, Chief Iroabuchi emphasized the far-reaching influence a developed society can wield, impacting not just the residents but also contributing significantly to the overall advancement and prosperity of Umuahia South. Among the media consultants present was Comrade Oluchi Lillian Ejim. The session reached its conclusion with a collective sense of optimism and a firm commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing the well-being of the local community.
