Official Launch of 2024 Farming Season by Gov Otti
The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti (OFR), will officially inaugurate the 2024 farming season for Abia North Senatorial Zone tomorrow, March 21, 2024.
According to a statement issued by the Honorable Commissioner of the Ministry of Agriculture, Professor Monica Ironkwe, the event will take place at the Bende Local Government Area Headquarters at 10 am.
Dignitaries expected to grace the occasion include the Deputy Governor of Abia State, the Secretary to the State Government, the Chief of Staff, the Chief Judge of Abia State, the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, all Mayors of the Abia North Senatorial Zone, as well as all Commissioners and Permanent Secretaries.
Also invited are farmers in the Abia North Senatorial Zone, agricultural research institutes, agricultural experts, and the general public.
The event will feature interactive sessions, produce exhibitions, free distribution of farm inputs to farmers, and more.
