GOVERNOR DR. ALEX OTTI (OFR) RECONSTITUTES STATE TRADITIONAL RULERS COUNCIL

The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti OFR, has approved the reconstitution of the State Traditional Rulers Council following the expiration of the tenure of the present Principal Officers.

In accordance with the directive, the Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Uzor Nwachukwu, has signed a press release announcing the appointment of the new Principal Officers, as follows:

Chairman: 

HRH Eze Linus Mba (Linton)

First Deputy: 

HRH Eze Nelson Nmerengwa

Second Deputy: 

HRH Eze Franklin O. Nwosu

Third Deputy: 

HRH Eze Uwakwe Ukaegbu

The appointments take immediate effect.

Furthermore, the press release states that the Local Government Councils of Ndi-Eze are expected to conduct their elections within one month, adhering to established guidelines, and to submit the list of officers to the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

His Excellency Dr. Alex Otti expresses gratitude to the outgoing Principal Officers for their dedicated service to the State.
