NSULU GAMES VILLAGE RECEIVES A GREAT BOOST


Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has reaffirmed his commitment to rebuilding the Nsulu Games Village in Isialangwa as part of his comprehensive plans to boost sports development in the state.

During a visit by the newly appointed chairman of Abia Warriors, Chief John Obuh, to his country home in Nvosi, Isialangwa, Governor Otti expressed his confidence in Obuh's abilities and commended his appointment based on merit and past achievements. The Governor stated that his administration carefully considered Obuh's track record, performance, and training before making the appointment, a standard that applies to all his appointees.

Governor Otti further emphasized his campaign promise to revamp the Nsulu Games Village, not only for football but also for other sports. He revealed that he had given instructions to the Commissioner for Sports to work towards the rebuilding of the facility.

In response, Obuh, accompanied by the Convener of United Abia Artistes and Patriots (UAAP), Chief Osita Offor, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the opportunity to serve and assured him of his dedication to the task. Obuh pledged to improve football administration, support player development, and create opportunities for youth in sports, ultimately contributing to the financial growth of Abia State.

Referencing his extensive experience in youth football development at the national level spanning over two decades, Obuh promised to leverage his knowledge and skills to propel the growth and advancement of football in his home State.
